About Chenyi Xu

Chenyi started Chinese painting enlightenment at the age of six. In 2019, he participated in the world students painting competition and got first prize, he also got the first prize of Xu Beihong international competition.

When the government encouraged people to stay home during the pandemic of 2020, Chenyi isolated at home and insisted on painting everyday. He said that painting has been interrogated into his life, and he needs to draw a few strokes everyday to feel at ease. In November, In 2020, Chenyi was invited to give an online lecture at Cupertino Calabazas Branch Library, where he shared his Chinese paintings and origami works, and the response was enthusiastic. His Chinese paintings and origami works won the first prize many times and had been published. In In 2022, Chenyi contributed his sketch to the WWII Pacific War Memorial Hall and was reported by the medias.
