Who are we?
BigBang Artwork is a non-profit organization established in Silicon Valley, California. Our goal is to provide K-12 students opportunities to celebrate their own talents by giving them hands-on experiences in creativity, business, and mentorship.
What is the Tutor Program?
Our tutor program is provided to empower K-8 students with opportunities for leadership training, confidence building, language learning; tools that will help with real-life necessities like communication, entrepreneurship, academic integrity. We introduce a learning opportunity in support of our excellent tutors who have experience in teaching.
What can you learn?
Courses : Students select courses that they would like to enroll in various subject choices. Examples include our popular ‘Introduction to speech interpretation’ class, and ‘Spanish’ class. Come check out our current courses being taught on this page!
Levels : If you find yourself concerned about where to start, no worries! Our courses indicate targeted levels : beginner, intermediate, etc. You can engage yourself at the level you think you are able to commit. Participating in mixed level groups is welcomed, for people seeking diverse learning environments.
Platforms : Most of our classes are taken 100% online through zoom and google classroom, so that anyone from anywhere is able to join. However, we also take offline events where you can actually engage in your interests with new people!
Why should you join?
Apart from course learning and training, this is why Bigbang artwork’s Tutor program is different!
- Managable commitment : The sessions are temporary and digestible, minimum 10 hours are taken for completion. Classes take once a week ranging from 1-2 hours per session, so no pressure or anxiety on a bunch of tasks. If you are looking for a slow paced but compact learning opportunity where you can involve more practice in real life, this will be for you.
- We value your preferences : Before you sign up for the course, we ask questions about your previous experience in learning and your preferred environment or expectations. We value your opinions, and we do our best to fulfill them.
- Certificate : After course completion, students receive a sharable certificate. These are the proof that you have successfully enriched our program and will help as an indication of higher learning on your resume or an element of your future endeavors!
