The program has received unanimous praise from all participants, who have gained substantial academic insights and cross-cultural understanding. Building on this solid foundation, the 2026 edition will be the third iteration, promising an even more memorable and enriching experience for all involved.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
In the summer of 2026, Inner Mongolia Agricultural University will launch the “Summer in Inner Mongolia, Closer to Each Other” Academic Exchange Camp for Chinese and American youth in Inner Mongolia as part of the Young Envoys Scholarship (YES) Program. Selected students will participate in academic seminars, special lectures, and cultural activities in Beijing, Hohhot, and Chifeng. The program integrates academic leadership with Chinese language practice, focusing on disciplines such as ecology, sustainable agriculture, and cultural heritage. Through immersive workshops, group research tasks, and bilingual interactions, participants will deepen their understanding of each other’s cultures, foster lifelong friendships, and lay a foundation for youth exchanges between China and the United States. The program emphasizes “content and language integrated learning,” creating an environment for natural language use in academic and daily contexts.
