Internship with Congress Ro Khanna

Role Description:

District Office (DO) interns play a critical role in helping constituents with federal issues, briefing staff on substantive issues and helping put on monthly town hall meetings. Interns learn how to work effectively in a professional office environment in general, and a Congressional office in particular. Because our constituents depend on the work of interns, commitment to serve the entire semester/quarter term is required.
Compesation:
$15/hour with a standard 12 hours per week (spread over 3-4 days).
Requirement:
Because of the limited number of internship openings in the DO, we are only accepting applications from college students or recent college graduates.
To apply for a District Office internship, submit the form below and also upload your resume, a short writing sample if available (no more than 4 pages), your dates/times of availability and reference contact information directly. The reference should be from a former manager or coworker in a job or volunteer project, rather than a teacher from a class.
Applicants with ties to the 17th Congressional District will take priority over those from other districts/states. We do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, age, or socio-economic status; all are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Our District Office is now accepting applications for Fall Quarter/Semester interns (starting in June/July 2022). Applications should be received no later than April 31.
